Is the ability to speak professionally a must in order to succeed in network marketing? It can definitely help. However the answer in a nutshell is: It really depends on you.

My original upline who recruited me in to Quixtar did not at all have that ability and neither do I. As a matter a fact he stuttered, miss used words, and was monotoned. Yet, this didn’t prevent him from effectively recruiting new reps and selling products. He was sure of himself, his opportunity and the products.

If during your presentation you keep on thinking about how unprofessional you sound, you will give that that feeling over in your body language and your tone of voice. The prospect will pick up on those things and will feel compelled to think of you and treat you just as you have presented yourself to him.

What you think and how you think is your choice. Therefore you can choose to ignore the fact that you may sound unprofessional. And when you do so, so will the prospect. As long as you know that you have the best opportunity in the world and that’s what you’re going to think about while you’re presenting, the chances are that’s what the prospect is going to think about as well.

So, what’s MlmResourceNetwork.com all about? You know, what I see going on in the network marketing community is that we get bombarded by “How to products” from left and right. Products such as “Learn how I recruited 2500 reps in 2 months” , “learn how to get unlimited leads”, or “learn how to effectively prospect and close leads”. And I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with that, as many of these products have a lot of value and offer quality training.

It’s just that we get bombarded by this stuff every corner we turn, and it gets to a point where we start getting confused as opposed to being focused. What I see network marketers do is first they buy this “how to product” on blogging and they try it for couple of months and then they buy that “how to product on ” social media’ web 2.0″ which they try for another couple of months. This system that system, it just never ends.

Another thing that I noticed about these “how to products” is that most of them don’t even tell you how to grow your primary mlm business. Instead it teaches you how to make money promoting the system that you are using. As far as you primary mlm business is concerned, you’re left to hope that the people that you sell “this hot new system” to will all of a sudden will want to join you’re business. The truth is, what stops you’re newly acquired prospect from pitching his deal to you instead of you pitching yours to him.

These days, it seems like no one is trying to grow their primary mlm business by doing things such as promoting the products of your mlm that offer true value to any consumer, and sharing the opportunity with others (and not with mlm burn outs looking for the “easy and garanteid” money using this new hot mlm online automated “leads comming to you” magic system). Everyone is busy promoting the new system they found.

My vision for MLM Resource Network is to create a “sales pitch free” environment where you can get your mlm training free of charge. What I also want to accomplish is to create true “Resource Network” of network marketers sharing information with each other.

I recently interviewed Robin Good from MasterNewMedia.org, and one of the things Robin mentioned was “If you want to create a following on the internet and start influencing people, you have to start sharing information that’s valuable to others without having in mind selling them on anything.”.
